TransPhone Stand

The concept behind the design is borrowed from the Sculpture in the Shape of Two Crouching Tigers of the Shang Dynasty (Late 14th-mid 11th century B.C.). This is an extraordinarily unique marble sculpture excavated at the Ruins of Yin by the Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica, and is deemed as a national treasure. This large sculpture weighs almost 100 kg and looks like two crouching animals joined at the hips. Its flat surface suggests that it could have been used as a seat. The modern alteration allows the two animals to slide, get up, sit still, making it a perfect smartphone stand.
