Twenty-Six Lot Divination Text

The work on display is a divination text in which each page is attached to a cord. When performing the divination, the Dongba ritualist selects one of the cords, which opens the text to the corresponding page. Each page is a distinct “ke” (divinatory lot), featuring its name along with symbolic illustrations. The priest then interprets the lot to answer the question posed during divination.
