Zhou Yi Ben Yi
Chan Zhan (1753-1817), sobriquet Zhongyu, was keen on collecting rare books and writings of famous literati from the past. He would affix a personal seal of his portrait to those collections of his liking, along with a phrase which literally translates to “great efforts were spent to acquire this book, and hopefully people in the future may understand my endeavor”
