Huang Ming Kai Tian Yu Lu
Song Yun (1681-1760), courtesy name Lanhui, was born in Shangqiu, Henan. He received his jinshi title in 1709, and began working in the Hanlin Academy. Since the Hanlin Academy was in charge of keeping historical records, people who serve in the academy were also nicknamed “Tai Shi”.
