Report on Rebellions to the Emperor
This volume of slips, restored through the efforts of Michael Loewe, Ōba Osamu, and Xie Guihua, is an order from the Commandant of Jianshui to Shi Xi to “shangyan bianshi” (report on rebellions to the emperor). This form of report was submitted to the emperor to expose any rebellions, revolts, or other unusual happenings.
