Routine Memorial for Reporting the Expenditures of the Civil Provincial Examination
In 1750, the budget for the Shuntian provincial exam was 7,500 taels, but according to the statistical report compiled by Magistrate Gu Ruxiu, actual expenditures were more than 7,868 taels. After investigating the matter, it was determined that commodity prices had slightly increased in comparison to the last exams, and an approval request was then submitted, as there was no indication of fraud.
