Notes of Yu on the Book of Changes
Author Zhang Huiyan was a noted Qing scholar on the classics. This work was later included in Interpretations of the Classics of the August Qing, a compilation by Governor Ruan Yuan (1764–1849) of Guangdong and Guangxi which includes 188 writings by 73 Confucian scholars. The amount of content positions this collection of works as not only an essential text used by exam candidates but also one for the study and interpretation of the classics in the Qing dynasty.
