Qiang Headscarf and Faux Braids
Qiang women in Qugu double-wrap their headscarves and secure them with faux braids, a custom shared with the neighboring Hei (Black) Shui and Gyalrong communities. Since the Hei Shui and Gyalrong are classified as part of the Tibetan ethnic group, this custom is now considered a Tibetan tradition.
