Qiang Women’s Dress
Young Qiang women wear lined jackets and vests trimmed with animal fur, embroidered with various motifs—mostly in cross-stitch—and adorned with silver, reflecting customs shaped by longstanding Tibetan influence from the north. In recent years, young unmarried women forgo head coverings, while middle-aged and older women continue to wear black headscarves.
