These fragments feature identifiable divination records and many scrapes on shallow carvings. The shallow carvings might have been traces of inscriptionpractice , basing on their poor writings and overlaping with the burning cracks, which were inscribed before the divinations. Most of these inscriptions start with “zi yue mou" in each line, which means mou was zi’s name. The inscriptions might suggest the format of genealogy.
