This marble anthropomorphic figure featuring a tiger head, with its fine carving and fair quality, is the most exquisite example of marble sculpture from Anyang. With head slightly tilted upwards, mouth agape, teeth bared, eyes in the shape of the Chinese character mu, and ears resembling fans, the figure kneels, claw-like hands placed on its knees. The sculpture is covered with incised motifs that include dragons with bottle-like horns on its arms and upright dragons with curved tails from its thighs to hip. Its underside is divided in two, and a vertical groove runs along its back, likely allowing it to be attached as an architectural ornament.
