The Niu Fang-ting (Bronze Square Cauldron with an Ox Emblem) and the Lu Fang-ting (Bronze Square Cauldron with a Deer Emblem), both designated as national treasures, on display at the MIHP have been imported into the Omiyage “immerse art vision innovation system” of Research Fellow Lun-Wei Ku’s lab at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica. The system employs a deep learning AI model to provide seamless, distance-free communication between museum-goers and the artifacts, enabling you to learn about their cultural background by simply engaging in a conversation.

Event Steps (tentative; please use as reference)
1. Scan the Omiyage cultural relic dialogue platform QR code at the “Chatting up Cultural Relics” event. Participants may connect to the MIHP’s wifi (name: museum; password: ihpmuseum).
2. After reading the “Omiyage User License Agreement,” select “Accept and Close.”
3. Enter the “Immerse Art Vision Innovation System” on the Omiyage cultural relic dialogue platform and select “Try Now.”
4. Select the relic you wish to chat with (Niu Fang-ting or Lu Fang-ting). Type your question into the dialog box, send it, and then wait for a response.
5. At the end of your session, select the “Print” icon in the lower right corner to create an active bookmark. Then take a screenshot, save it, and record the printing number (printing services are limited to the first 200 copies, so please take advantage of the opportunity; for printing numbers above 200, printing services are not provided).
6. Present the printing number to the MIHP service counter to collect an Omiyage bookmark gift (your patience is appreciated as the bookmark is printed).
7. Participants may also stamp their bookmarks with a limited edition “Niu Fang-ting” stamp at the service counter.
