Flange Molds

Artifacts R016937 and R017141 are the clay molds for the flanges of a bronze. It has been hypothesized that they are embedded into the mold assemblage, but the type of bronze is not certain. We can judge that the casting of bronzes in complex shape would divide various small mold sections.
