The following shows colors of bronze samples in various alloy proportions.
Top row, left to right (all numbers in wt.%): copper 90, tin 10, lead 0; copper 80, tin 15, lead 5; copper 95, tin 5, lead 0.
Bottom row, left to right: copper 85, tin 15, lead 0; copper 80, tin 15, lead 5 (quenched); copper 80, tin 20, lead 0.

Generally, the higher the proportion of tin, the whiter the color (close to silver).
