Kong Zhou Stele of the Han Dynasty

Kong Zhou was the 18th-generation descendant of Confucius and also the father of Kong Rong. This rubbing duplicates the clerical scripts on the front side of the original stele. The stele was originally erected in front of Kong Zhou’s tomb, and it was moved to its present location at the Temple of Confucius in Qufu city, Shangdong province during the Qianlong era of the Qing dynasty.
