“Shouyu qi bu” (registers of defense equipment) are records of any equipment or facilities related to military defense, including garrisons, beacon signals, maintenance tools, provisions, horses, and dogs. The items and their quantities would be listed, along with brief descriptions of any deemed insufficient. The register on display here, excavated from A35 Taralingin-durbeljin, includes more that forty items of defense equipment.
