Request to Appoint Sun Qiyuan as Inspector of the Imperial Warehouse of Extended Accumulation in Fujian on Provisional Basis
Through contributing to the distribution commission of Sichuan, Sun Qiyuan, jiansheng degree holder, was appointed warehouse inspector of the provincial administration commission and then placed on assignment in Fujian following another contribution, which he began in 1739. Coincidentally, Inspector Wei Ling of one of the imperial warehouses was dismissed for neglect of duty. The senior official overseeing the matter then designated Sun to act in his capacity, and if he proved competent, a request would be sent to formally appoint him.
