Interpretations of the Book of Changes
Born into a prominent family known for their literary talents, Hui Dong as well as his father and paternal grandfather studied the Book of Changes. After his father’s passing, Hui returned to his native place, where he taught and wrote without serving as an official until his death. This work was later included in Interpretations of the Classics of the August Qing, a compilation by Governor Ruan Yuan (1764–1849) of Guangdong and Guangxi.
