Sealing Slips for Writing Materials
Wooden slips unearthed from Edsen-gol and Dunhuang specifically mention the transport of slips, double-column slips, and binding cords to frontier beacon stations, all of which recorded the quantities of each of the above items. For example, the characters zha, lianghang, xi (polyhedral slips), and sheng (cords), along with information indicating their respective quantities and lengths, can be seen on the sealing slips discovered at A33 Ulan-durbeljin on display here.
