The Genre Paintings of Taiwan’s Aboriginal Peoples:Weaving Thread
This picture depicts the Peipon wemen weaving thread, possibly in the eighteenth century. Traditionally, the Peipon wear little clothing. Women usually only wore grass skirts to cover their lower bodies. The skill of weaving thread should have come from the Han Chinese.
