Illustrated Description of Famous Places in China
Produced in early nineteenth-century Japan, this work is a collection of prints that depict various places inside and outside the capital as well as several provinces of the Qing Empire. The print on display here is of Ziguang Pavilion, which is holding the mounted archery portion of the military palace examination.
