Granary Register of Officials and Soldiers of the Wansui Platoon in the Fifth Month of the Fifth Year of the Jianping Era
The first wooden slip on display here is the title of this text, read as “Wansui bu Jianping wu nian wu yue lizu lin mingji”, and the other three all contain the contents “wu yue san dan san dou san sheng shao” as well as a “ㄗ” marking at the bottom. Moreover, although the name of the individual receiving the grain differs, the date written on slip nos. 286.8 and 55.17 are identical, namely “fourth month Jiawu.” All the above indicates that these slips had been bound into the same volume.
