Throughout the month of May, the Museum of the IHP is giving everyone…
a series of activities suitable for all ages for the 518 International Museum Day!
Whether still budding or enjoying your golden years, all are invited to share in the experiences of staring in awe at a few national treasures and of playing around with all-new games and educational activities. Come find something of your liking and enjoy the wonders of the MIHP, a museum perfect for the young and old alike!

"Befuddling National Treasures, Puzzling under Sliding Pressure” Slide Puzzles Timed Competition｜All Ages
National treasures can only be viewed from afar?
For this year’s 518 International Museum Day, the Museum of the IHP has designed all-new “Befuddling National Treasures” eight-piece slide puzzles, allowing you to first observe from a distance, then get in close to piece them together and ultimately bring everything together. As long as you dare to face the challenge, the national treasures shall let you put them together!

“This Is How You Play with Oracle Bone Inscriptions” Card Game｜Recommended for Our Senior Visitors
Are you familiar with oracle bone inscriptions? Have you ever learned how to write oracle script? Now how about enjoying them as a game?
The Museum of the IHP’s all-new oracle bone inscription card game is an energizing experience which will help you learn by simply enjoying a game and have fun during your visit. Allow the MIHP to tell you: “This is how to play with oracle bone inscriptions!” For this year’s 518 International Museum Day, the MIHP invites you (especially our more senior visitors!) to try “This Is How You Play with Oracle Bone Inscriptions” together with us!

“Lend a Han-d with Storytelling”｜Family Fun
The seemingly infinite stories within Han paintings are teeming with history and imagination! But you no longer have to just marvel at the images and rubbings from outside of the display case. Let’s use our han-ds to share these Han tales! The Museum of the IHP has created this magnetic teaching tool for exploring the stories within Han paintings and is organizing two unboxing sessions for visitors from all over to try and then sharetheir experiences. Lend us a han-d and let’s discover together!
